There are concerts. And then there are spiritual gatherings where music becomes prayer, lights become hope, and every chord is a call for souls to rise.
In November 2025, the Christian pop-worship band Glorious landed in Mauritius for not one, not two, but three unforgettable nights of praise, worship, and communion, at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex.
And we, at Impact Production Group, were honoured to bring those moments to life… in sound, light, energy, and faith.
Why This Return Mattered
Glorious is no newcomer to Mauritius. The French group has already drawn hearts to sing and souls to worship on the island during previous tours (notably in 2013, 2014, and 2023).
This 2025 visit carried special meaning. As local media noted, two of Glorious’s band-members have Mauritian roots; a detail that resonated deeply with fans and lent the concerts a sense of homecoming and unity.
But what truly made these evenings remarkable was the scale of the response: tickets for the initial concerts sold out in under 24 hours.
Faced with such demand, Glorious; in solidarity with their Mauritian audience; added a third date, turning a beautiful evening into a trilogy of hope and worship.

Each evening was more than a concert, a spiritual experience: 2+ hours of live praise & worship, prayers, shared emotion. Families, friends, and worshippers of all ages gathered; many arriving hours ahead via skybridge, parking in the outdoor lot, ready for what they felt would be “more than music”.
For many, those nights weren’t just marked on a calendar; they marked something deeper.
Behind the Scenes: IPG’s Role – When Production Is Prayer
Bringing such spiritual energy to life requires more than speakers and lights. For IPG, this was a calling and a responsibility.
- Sound & Backline: We ensured that every guitar chord, every vocal harmonies, every drum beat resonated clearly so that worship wasn’t just heard, but felt.
- Stage Design & Power Distribution: From the stage drawing plans to the distribution of electricity, every technical detail was mapped with precision. The stage was more than a platform, it was a sacred space.
- Lighting & Atmosphere: We sculpted light and shadow to mirror the journey of worship; from gentle introspection to radiant praise. Each beam, each fade was curated to elevate the moment.
- Collaboration with Glorious: Working closely with Alexi Merlin, part of the Glorious’s crew, we coordinated with empathy and respect, bridging technical excellence with spiritual sensitivity.
Behind every sold-out seat, behind every raised hand, was a team dedicated to honouring the intention of the music: worship, unity, faith…and an encounter with something greater than ourselves.
When Audience, Faith & Production Align : The Magic of Community
Listening to media and fan reactions after the concerts confirmed what we felt at IPG: this was not just entertainment. As one article put it: “Glorious : 20 years of faith and a link with the island”, the connection Mauritians have with the band goes beyond language or geography. It’s spiritual.
For many attendees, the concerts were a gift: the chance to stand together, to sing in unison, to pray as one. To rediscover hope, to feel belonging… to let their souls rise.
And for us at IPG, witnessing that was a profound blessing. We don’t just build stages or route cables, we help build environments where hearts can open.
