From LED candles to flickering wicker, discover how we guide guests through elegant experiences.

Where Design Meets Direction

They arrive in daylight, following laughter and soft music. By sundown, the scene changes, paths begin to glow, steps slow, conversations hush. That’s the moment the pathway becomes more than a route; it becomes part of the memory.

At Impact Production Group (IPG), we don’t just light the way. We design the journey. From a barefoot bride on a petal-lined aisle to a hundred guests drifting from cocktails to dinner, our pathway lighting turns transitions into experiences: subtle, safe, and soulfully lit.

Lighting with Intention (Not Just Illumination)

Every path holds a feeling. Our job is to reveal it.

We map each route around:

  • Terrain & elevation (beach sand, lawn, decking, forest trails)
  • Flow (entry, aisle, buffet, lounge, exit)
  • Time of day (golden hour fades, moonrise moments)
  • Theme & palette (boho, modern, coastal chic, black-tie)

Then we layer light that guides without shouting.

The IPG Pathway Palette (What We Use & Why It Works)

  • Lantern Linesrattan, wrought iron, and paper: Warm candlelight (real or battery) inside textured shades for that romantic “breathing” glow. Perfect for gardens, courtyards, and ceremony aisles.
  • Shepherd’s Hooks with Solar Jars — Slim black or golden hooks curve over the path, each holding a solar jar that wakes at dusk. A clean, cable-free solution for lawns and remote sites.
  • Fireflies Effect — Discreet clusters of micro-LEDs tucked into hedges and low foliage, set to gentle flicker so the garden feels alive.
  • Rope-Light Entrances — Low, continuous glow tracing the entry or driveway edge; ideal for wayfinding at scale without glare.
  • LED Candle Bags — Soft, sand-friendly luminaires that dot beaches or define curves on lawns.
  • In-Ground LED Markers — Flush, modern points of light where clean lines matter (boardwalks, resort paths).
  • Overhead Festoons — Where a route opens into a plaza or dining zone, festoons “cap” the space so guests instinctively transition.

Daylight to Dreamscape: The Fade-In

We choreograph the transition. As ambient light falls, pathway sources rise—first the solar jars glow, then the wicker lanterns flicker on, finally the fireflies whisper in the hedges. Guests feel the moment arrive without ever noticing a “switch.”

“The light came on as if it knew what we were feeling.” — Bride, garden wedding in Moka

Terrain Inspires the Design

  • Beach: LED candle bags + rope-light edges = sand-safe glow and clear lines back to the lounge.
  • Forest: Fireflies in the understory + shepherd’s hooks with solar jars; cables hidden beneath leaf mulch.
  • Resort Lawns: Wrought iron lanterns alternating with in-ground LEDs for elegance and accessibility.
  • Modern Decking: Minimal markers + low-wash fixtures for a gallery-like stroll.

Safety is non-negotiable: hidden cabling, heel-friendly routes, and clear sightlines: grace with guardrails.

When Light Tells the Story

We time subtle dim/bright cues to the evening’s beats: a soft lift as speeches begin, a warm drift toward the dance floor, a gold-to-amber shift when dessert appears. No theatrics, just emotion, guided by glow.

One Team, One Flow

Our lighting crew collaborates with:

  • Décor (to weave lantern textures with florals)
  • Technical (for power and timing)
  • Guest-flow leads (for capacity and direction)
  • Your planner (for narrative and brand)

The result? Invisible excellence; everything works, nothing shouts.

Mini Case Study: The Three-Path Arrival

A destination wedding with multiple entry points:

  • Palm avenue traced with rope light for shuttles.
  • Garden loop dotted with wicker lanterns for stroll-in guests.
  • Beach boardwalk signed by in-ground LEDs for the wedding party.
All three converged at a festoon-lit plaza. No signage needed, the light did the talking.
